WHAT IT DOES
This unique plural-component polymer chemistry results in a long-term (min. 10 year service); stable single component (1K) clear topcoat, engineered to dramatically improve a coated asset’s resistance to corrosion, scratch, chip, abrasion, chemical, moisture – water permeation, and UV radiation damage.
Its low surface energy (hydrophobicity) helps to repel water, along with the reduction and easy release of ice, dirt, oil, grease, brake dust, graffiti, and many forms of organic and inorganic surface fouling regardless of the asset’s purpose and location.

NCI dramatically improves resistance to corrosion, weathering, abrasion, scratching, chipping, marring, chemical, and UV degradation. We achieve these industry leading levels of protection by incorporating polyurethane, polyuria pre-polymer and polysilane into a molecule dense 1K product. What makes NCI 1K additionally so unique is our extreme protection requires no activators, hardeners, or accelerators in the application process, making Nano-Clear extremely applicator friendly.

HOW DOES NANO-CLEAR RESTORE COLOUR?
NCI has a low (200 cps) viscosity, so it penetrates deep into the smallest pores of freshly painted or oxidized coatings, turning the white, chalked layers transparent, allowing the original underlying colour to show through while fortifying / hardening the surface.
MATTE ADDITIVE (NCIM)
Nano-Clear Functional Materials were specifically designed to expand the application potential of Nano-Clear NCI Industrial Coating. Can be mixed and blended together with Nano-Clear NCI to create multiple new coating formulations (application specific).
The admixing of NCIM Matting Additive into Nano-Clear NCI reduces NCI’s high specular gloss level to a desired “flatness” with no negative effect to its multifunctional properties. This “first-to-market” matting additive is based on Nanovere’s multifunctional polymers and functional nanoparticles.
NCIM’S ADDITION TO NCL WILL DRAMATICALLY INCREASE:
- Pencil hardness from a 4H to 7H
- Chemical, atmospheric, weathering, environmental, and UV resistance
- Scratch, abrasion, and chip resistance
- Corrosion resistance
EASY-CLEAN ADDITIVE (NCIEC)
Nano-Clear Easy Clean NCIEC is a proprietary, low surface energy, fluoropolymer additive. NCIEC improves dirt, oil, water, ice & paint repellency when added to Nano-Clear NCI.
NANO-CLEAR NCIEC ADDITIVE ADMIXED INTO NCL (NCL + NCIEC) PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS:
